Community Assistance Council provides Maternal Health Services that combine education, emotional support, and professional doula care. Our goal is to ensure every parent feels informed, empowered, and supported throughout their pregnancy, labor, and postpartum journey.
We believe every family deserves a safe, confident, and connected birth experience.
Our certified doula offers continuous, personalized care through pregnancy, birth, and the early weeks of parenthood. Services include Prenatal Support, Labor & Delivery Support, and Postpartum Care.
Pregnancy brings excitement, questions, and big emotions. Our doula provides guidance and reassurance so you feel prepared and confident.
Prenatal services include:
Visits to discuss your preferences, concerns, and goals
Education on pregnancy, labor, and birth options
Creation of a personalized birth plan
Comfort techniques and partner preparation
Ongoing text and phone support throughout pregnancy
Your birth experience matters. Our doula offers continuous physical, emotional, and informational support during labor to help you feel safe, empowered, and heard.
Support includes:
On‑call availability leading up to your due date
Continuous presence during active labor and birth
Comfort measures: breathing, positioning, relaxation
Advocacy and communication support with your care team
Partner support to help them feel confident and involved
The transition after birth can be beautiful — and overwhelming. Our doula provides nurturing, non‑judgmental support as you recover and adjust to life with your newborn.
Postpartum services include:
Emotional support and check‑ins
Newborn care guidance
Feeding support (breast, bottle, or combination)
Help establishing routines and rest strategies
Referrals to community resources when needed
Continuous, personalized care
Evidence‑based information to support your choices
Reduced stress and increased confidence
Support for both you and your partner
A trusted advocate throughout your journey
We accept all Medicaid plans in Kansas and Missouri.
